Estimates & Quotes

All pricing is provided as an estimate. A detailed written quote will be issued through Torque360 before any work begins.

Deposit Requirement

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
Deposit amounts range from $35–$100, depending on the total job cost.
All deposits must be sent via Zelle to (213) 803-3335 or calicaremechanic@gmail.com.
(Zelle will display “Kim’s VA Services LLC” — this is correct and part of our business account.)
Deposits are applied toward your final invoice total.

Payment

Remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of service.
Accepted payment methods:

  • Zelle (no fee)

  • Credit/debit card (3% processing fee applies)
    Cash and checks are not accepted.

Parts

  • Parts are billed separately unless otherwise noted.

  • Customers may provide their own parts; however, CaliCare Mobile Mechanic does not provide a warranty on customer-supplied parts.

Shop Fee

  • A flat $5 shop fee will be added to each invoice to cover basic supplies and environmental costs.

Travel Fees

  • Travel within 10 miles of Monrovia is included.

  • For locations beyond 10 miles, an additional fee of $30–$60 may apply.

After-Hours & Weekend Services

  • Services scheduled outside regular business hours may include an additional fee of 15–20%.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Reschedules must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

Liability

CaliCare Mobile Mechanic is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing issues or damage unrelated to services performed

  • Vehicle failure due to unrelated mechanical problems

  • Unsafe work environments (services may be refused if location is deemed unsafe)

Safe Work Environment

For the safety of both our technicians and your vehicle, the following conditions are required:

  • Flat, stable surface: Vehicle must be parked on a paved, level surface (driveway, garage, or parking lot). Work cannot be performed on steep inclines, dirt, or unstable ground.

  • Adequate space: At least 5–6 feet of clearance around the vehicle must be available.

  • Lighting & weather: Sufficient lighting is required. Services may be rescheduled in unsafe weather conditions (heavy rain, storms, extreme heat).

  • Customer responsibilities: Keys must be available at the start of service. The work area must be kept clear of pets, children, and obstacles.

  • Roadside services: Work will only be performed in safe, legal roadside areas. If the environment is unsafe (e.g., active traffic lane, blind curve, freeway shoulder), the vehicle must be moved or towed before service.

  • Right to refuse: CaliCare Mobile Mechanic reserves the right to refuse or reschedule any service if the environment is deemed unsafe.
