Estimates & Quotes
All pricing is provided as an estimate. A detailed written estimate will be issued through Torque360 before any work begins. Final costs may vary based on parts availability, labor time, or additional findings once work begins.
Deposit Requirement
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Deposit amounts vary based on the type and length of service:
$50 for diagnostic and non-start services
$50–$100 for standard services
$200–$300 for half-day or full-day repairs that block extended scheduling time
Deposits are applied toward the final invoice if services are performed. Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
Deposits must be sent via Zelle. Zelle may display “Kim’s VA Services LLC,” which is the correct business account for CaliCare Mobile Mechanic.
Diagnostic & Non-Start Appointments
For diagnostic and non-start services, the vehicle must be service-ready at the time of arrival. This includes:
A working, charged battery capable of powering the vehicle and diagnostic equipment
Full access to the vehicle
Keys available
Technicians cannot wait on-site. If diagnosis cannot be completed due to a dead battery, lack of access, or incorrect information provided, the deposit/service fee will still apply and a new deposit will be required to reschedule.
Appointment Confirmation
Appointments are confirmed only after the estimate is approved and the deposit is received.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Reschedules must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
Payment
Remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of service.

Credit/debit card
Cash
Checks are not accepted.
Parts
Parts are billed separately unless otherwise noted.
Customers may provide their own parts; however, CaliCare Mobile Mechanic does not provide a warranty on customer-supplied parts.
Shop Fee
A flat $5 shop fee will be added to each invoice to cover basic supplies and environmental costs.
Service Area & Travel Fees
CaliCare Mobile Mechanic provides mobile service within our approved service area.
Travel within 10 miles of Monrovia is included
Appointments beyond 10 miles may require an additional travel fee of $30–$60, depending on distance and location
Service outside our standard service area is subject to availability and approval
Travel fees, if applicable, will be disclosed before booking and included in the estimate.
Safe Work Environment
For the safety of both our technicians and your vehicle, the following conditions are required:
Flat, stable surface: Vehicle must be parked on a paved, level surface (driveway, garage, or parking lot). Work cannot be performed on steep inclines, dirt, or unstable ground.
Adequate space: At least 5–6 feet of clearance around the vehicle must be available.
Lighting & weather: Sufficient lighting is required. Services may be rescheduled due to heavy rain, high winds, lightning, flooding, or any weather condition that creates an unsafe working environment.
Customer responsibilities: Keys must be available at the start of service. The work area must be kept clear of pets, children, and obstacles.
Roadside services: Work will only be performed in safe, legal roadside areas. If the environment is unsafe (e.g., active traffic lane, blind curve, freeway shoulder), the vehicle must be moved or towed before service.
Right to refuse: CaliCare Mobile Mechanic reserves the right to refuse or reschedule any service if the environment is deemed unsafe.
Liability
CaliCare Mobile Mechanic is not responsible for:
Pre-existing issues or damage unrelated to services performed
Vehicle failure due to unrelated mechanical problems
Unsafe work environments (services may be refused if location is deemed unsafe)
